Randy Pausch has died at 47

The Tech Fridge was extremely sad to learn that Randy Pausch, made an international sensation after his Last Lecture, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," at Carnegie Mellon, died this morning of inoperable pancreatic cancer. I told my wife at the time, watching his lecture was the best hour I had ever spent in front of any screen. His words, which he revealed at the end were for his kids, told us how we should live our lives so that we get the most out of the short time on Earth. If you have not seen it, take the time out today to find the video either on YouTube or iTunes (I recommend the iTunes so you can download it; go to iTunes and search for "Pausch").
Pausch is regarded as one of the leading professors in virtual reality, including his work on the Alice project and many other endeavors.
Our heart goes out to the Paush family. Your husband touched all of us and changed my life more than you'll ever know...God bless you all.
