Presentation "borrowing" at its finest

We were at our local service unit on Monday, so, since it caused us to sluff off, we thought we'd share a website that we got to take another look at.
Slideshare is a website where you can upload your power point presentations. As with most web 2.0, this means that what you created is then out there on the web for people to view and/or edit. Which is great if you are trying to do some research, but maybe not so much if you put in all the work. If you don't want your presentation stolen...don't put it on there! That's the simplest way. The good/bad of Slideshare (which the actual URL is http://www.slideshare.net, not .com) is that it's not just an education site (just like Delicious isn't), which means, yippee if you are looking for something else, but annoying if you are only looking for just education. As with Delicious, you obviously have search options to limit what you are looking at. So, the next time you are preparing for a slideshow, or just looking for a cool new background, check out Slideshare!
